A State-of-the-Art
Training Ground for Alberta’s
Emergency Heroes
The wildfire season of 2023 was like no other in Canada’s history. With roughly 18.5 million hectares of Canadian land burned, this year was the worst wildfire season ever recorded. Fire training is more critical than ever, with resources spreading thin across the country.
Our proposed Strathmore area training ground aims to be a world-class education facility for fire exercises, encompassing a wide range of training scenarios, incorporating the latest in fire training technology.
Why We Need your Help
Our goal is to establish a forefront training environment that equips First Responders with the advanced skills and knowledge needed to effectively respond to more frequent and diverse emergency scenarios.
Designed to utilize innovative and immersive scenario-based training exercises that simulate real-world situations, ranging from residential fires to mass casualty incidents, SAFE aims to ensure that first responders are well-prepared for the complexities of modern emergency response.
